This policy explains how Mawer Design handles complaints relating to the use of personal data, in line with UK data protection law.

2. How to Make a Complaint

3. Our Process

We will:

  • Acknowledge your complaint within 30 days

  • Investigate the issue fairly and thoroughly

  • Respond with the outcome and any actions taken

We aim to resolve complaints as quickly as possible and without undue delay.

4. Outcomes

Following investigation, we may:

  • Provide clarification or explanation

  • Correct or update data

  • Delete data where appropriate

  • Adjust our processes to prevent future issues

 

5. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

6. Record Keeping

We maintain records of complaints and their outcomes to ensure accountability and improve our data protection practices.
